My research field is focused of the starburst-driven evolution of low-mass galaxies over cosmic times. To this end, I use deep observations to study the spectrophotometric properties of stellar and gaseous phases of star-forming galaxies, their chemical abundances and kinematical properties.
In the context of ASTRODEEP, I am mostly involved in the scientific exploitation of the data obtained within several deep, multi wavelength surveys based on HST, VLT and Spitzer data, such as CANDELS, VUDS, or the recent HST Frontier Fields. Together with the design of future spectrocopic follow-ups, part of my research is also devoted to the data analysis and validation of the different techniques for catalog extraction that are part of the ASTRODEEP program.
